    For welding materials together that do not require regulated temperature control on heated materials. Such as car bodies and frames. They would require controlled heating to keep from weakening the metals during the welding process. This would be done with mig-welding. A porch railing for instance would not require controlled heat. Therefore, you could weld it with oxy-acetylene.
