Polycrystalline diamond and thick-film diamond have been used for mechanical parts such as wire drawing dies and nozzles with a hole diameter of less than 3 mm. Polycrystalline diamond slender tubes have also been introduced, and the problem of wear is solved, but the manufacturing cost and price of the products are relatively expensive. For the preparation of wire drawing dies and nozzles with a hole diameter greater than 3 mm, polycrystalline diamond and thick film diamond materials are rarely used.
