The nano-diamond composite coating drawing die has a significant effect on the production efficiency and the material saving compared with the conventional mold：
1.Extend the life of the mold to about 10 times
Theoretical analysis and practical use have shown that the nano-diamond composite coating has high hardness and ideal wear resistance of diamond, and has self-lubricating property due to micro-convex phase transfer (graphitization).
2.The conductor cross section remains stable
The stability of the core section obtained using the coating mold is very good, and the pore diameter of the mold hardly changes from the start of use to the production process of hundreds of kilometers at the end of life. This is attributed to the high wear resistance of the coating, low coefficient of friction and its stability. Figure 4-11 shows a schematic diagram of the conductor cross-section as a function of production length when a coating die and a cemented carbide die are used.
