You've got to be more specific when talking about metals. Pure titanium is a relatively weak metal. It only gets strong when it is alloyed with other materials and precipitation-hardened via heat treatment.
There are dozens of titanium alloys, and thousands of other alloys that could be compared. In general, nickel-iron-cobalt alloys can easily exceed the strength of even the strongest titanium alloy. A strength of 2 gigaPascals is easily attainable with these alloys.
