I want to know what the strongest material that can be used on a ship (naval and space) as armor. Is it tungsten carbide? Perhaps graphene?

    graphene or carbyne A sheet of graphene, one molecule thick, would need an elephant balancing on the end of a pencil to puncture the graphene sheet. But, recent developement states that carbyne might be stronger then graphene. It has twice the tensile strength of graphene.
