Alloys have better physical properties and usage compared to a pure metal. For example, a 10K gold alloy with copper is stronger than a pure 24K gold by itself. Alloys can be designed by combining two or more metals with the pure metal in question. By making an alloy of a particular metal, its malleability, tensile strength, thermal and electrical conductivity, appearance, and other eutectic properties can be altered according to desired design.
