Cemented carbide tube drawing dies are also called outer dies or tube drawing dies, which use cemented carbide as the core and inlaid with steel sleeves. YG15 14.00 87.0 2800 is used to make high shrinkage steel rods and tubes.
The following five points should be paid attention to when using cemented carbide drawing dies:
1. Equipment selection: According to the material you want to draw and the drawing equipment, the compression ratio of each drawing tube is reasonably matched to determine the angle of the working area of each drawing tube die;
2. Pretreatment of the drawn tube material: such as cleaning, derusting, annealing, phosphating, etc., to ensure the cleanliness of the material;
3. Selection of drawing aids: select high-quality and applicable tube drawing powder (lubricant, oil), and do a good job of cooling the tube drawing die;
4. Deal with abnormal molds in time: If mold cracks, mold explosion, mold sticking, wire drawing, diameter reduction, wire breakage, high temperature, mold blackening, non-wear resistance and other use problems occur during tube drawing, please contact professional and technical personnel in time contact.
5. Aging and replacement: When the cemented carbide drawing die reaches the end of its service life, please change the drawing die in time to repair the die, so as to avoid the excessive use of the drawing die, which will cause the drawing material to be scrapped.
