Cemented carbide drawing die

Cemented Carbide Mold Manufacturers Cemented carbide molds, also called tungsten steel molds, are composed of tungsten and other elements. The hardness is about 8M (Mohs hardness standard), and the diamond wire drawing mold is about 1M higher than its hardness, so the diamond mold has high hardness and wear resistance. In the production of large metals, cemented carbide molds should have the world. Why do cemented carbide mold manufacturers say that, although diamond molds are high in hardness and wear-resistant, they do not have too many particles, and their cost cannot be estimated.

  Diamond molds are mainly used in the drawing of fine metals. Carbide molds such as straight rod molds, drawing molds, and diamond molds cannot be replaced. Nowadays, diamond molds mainly include diamond wire drawing mold {about 15.0 or less metal drawing}, special-shaped diamond wire drawing mold {square, rectangular, semicircle, etc.}. Therefore, diamond wire drawing dies are commonly used for wire drawing, with high efficiency, long life, and reduced labor intensity. Of course, cemented carbide molds also have certain advantages, such as high finish, complete specifications, low prices, and easy repair.

Why is the temperature inside the drawing die uneven?

The uneven temperature of the drawing die is related to the injection cycle. After injection, the temperature of the cavity rises to the highest. At this time, the hot melt hits the cold wall of the cavity, and the temperature drops to the lowest when the parts are removed. The function of the mold temperature machine is to keep the temperature constant between θ2min and θ2max, that is, to prevent the temperature difference Δθw from fluctuating up and down during the production process or the gap.

 The following points affect the service life of cemented carbide molds:

  1 Unsuitable shrinkage rate. The cemented carbide mold itself has the characteristics of being hard and brittle. If it is used for shrinking drawing with large area shrinkage, it will easily lead to the stress that the mold can withstand and chipping and scrapping. Therefore, it is necessary to choose the appropriate one according to the different mechanical properties of the wire. Shrinkage rate. {Drawing die is the most obvious. }

  2 The effect of heat treatment is good or bad. For wires with excessive hardness or uneven hardness, heat treatment should first reduce the hardness by annealing or tempering to make it uniform, otherwise it will seriously damage the cemented carbide mold. {Shrink rod mold, straight rod mold is obvious}

  3 Surface treatment of materials that are not processed

  4 The effect of the lubricant used is to maintain the best lubrication state throughout the production process, so as to form a film that can withstand high pressure without being damaged, reduce the friction in the working area, and improve the use of cemented carbide molds life.

  5Whether the cemented carbide mold is regularly maintained.
