Wire drawing dies usually refer to dies for drawing various wires. Cemented carbide is a commonly used material for drawing cores and is widely used for drawing thick and medium wires. Let me introduce to you the structure of the working area of the hard alloy wire drawing die according to the nature of the work, which can be divided into five areas: "entry area, lubrication area, working area, sizing area, and outlet area"
1. Entrance area: The transition from the entrance area to the working area is generally a circular arc, which is convenient for the smooth threading of the imported wire and facilitates the spinning of the drawing lubricant;
2. Lubrication area: lubricate the drawn material and allow the wire to transition easily;
3. Working area: The linear working area can reduce the drawing resistance, changing the point contact to the surface contact, reducing friction and mold wear, and the deformation structure is more reasonable and stable. If the incoming wire becomes thicker or thinner, it can be drawn smoothly;
4. Sizing area: The straight-line sizing area can ensure the exact diameter and smoothness of the wire;
5. Export area: The export area can ensure the smooth wire exit.

YG6, YG8, YG15
YG6: Used for drawing steel, non-ferrous metals and their alloy wires or rods with a diameter of less than 20.0mm under high stress; it is also suitable for drawing pipes with a diameter of less than 10mm;
YG8: It is used for steel, non-ferrous metal and its alloy wire or rod with a diameter of less than 50.0mm and pipes with a diameter of less than 35mm under the condition of high stress.
YG15: It can be used to stretch steel rods and steel pipes with high compressibility, and work under greater stress, such as nail hammers, perforation and stamping dies
