Analysis of the application of cemented carbide in drawing die: Although this type of material is expensive and difficult to drawing die, it can significantly increase the service life of the drawing die after use, and it has a good technical and economic effect in mass production. Therefore, to promote it on a larger scale and at a deeper level has very important implications for the drawing die industry. Next, we will introduce the application analysis of the cemented carbide drawing die.

 

(1) Problems in the original production; if the drawing die material is 08A1, the material thickness is 0.8mm, and the production batch is large batch. Two deep drawing is required to form the part. In the original drawing die, the concave drawing die materials are all Crl2, and the equipment used is a general double-action press. During production, after the drawing die is used for a period of time, the appearance of the part will show significant scratch marks, which severely affects the appearance quality. The investigation found that after the first drawing process, there were a few scratches on the surface of the semi-finished product. After the second drawing, the scratches and scratches increased significantly, and the surface of the die was severely worn and often adhered to the workpiece. material.

 

The factory has tried to improve the precision of drawing die manufacturing, reduce the surface roughness value, even polishing and chrome plating, but it still cannot fundamentally solve the problems of product surface strain and short drawing die life.

 

(2) Process analysis: After analysis, it can be seen that the original drawing die structure, the structural parameters of the stretching drawing die operation part, and the smoothing method in the stretching process are fundamentally reasonable. The scratches and scratches on the part are mainly between the drawing die and the surface of the processed blank. The touch situation of the conflicting side is related. On the one hand, a lot of pressure will occur when the blank touches the surface of the drawing die during the drawing process. At this moment, the smooth area of certain conflicts and gaps cannot be supplemented by the smoothing agent, which will aggravate the conflict state there; on the other hand, Then 08A1 is a soft material, if the drawing die hardness is low, it will increase the occurrence of deformation heat. Although the heat treatment hardness of Cr12 is already high, it is still insufficient for the large-scale continuous drawing in this example.

 

The above reasons have caused the temperature of the conflict surface to rise sharply after the drawing die has been used for a period of time. At high temperatures, local metal welding will conflict and bond, causing the semi-finished product to show scratches and minor scratches first. At this moment, if the drawing die is not repaired in time, the scratches and fine scratches that occurred in the previous process will inevitably increase the wear of the drawing die in the next process, and then increase the drawing force, the tensile stress of the side wall of the part, and the conflict resistance, which will cause conflicts. The surface temperature rises further, and then again causes metal deposition, which aggravates the occurrence of conflict bonding, leading to a vicious circle, the more severe the deposition, and the more obvious scratches.

 

Based on the above analysis of the application of cemented carbide in deep drawing dies, taking into account that the steel-bonded cemented carbide JW08 has high hardness (quenching hardness up to 69-73HRC), high wear resistance, small heat treatment deformation and outstanding machining It can satisfy the application and processing requirements of deep drawing in this example, so we changed the die material Cr12 to steel-bonded cemented carbide JW08.
