After hardening, the surface hardness of the mold is uniform and the hardness is high. Conventional quenching is not sensitive, and it is not sensitive to the quenching temperature and the shape of the workpiece. The annealing temperature range is wide, the hardness is low, the fluctuation range is small, the spheroidization rate is high, the grinding wheel wear is small during grinding, the non-combustible limit wear is large, and it is not sensitive to the quality of the grinding wheel and cooling conditions, and it is not easy to wear and crack. The tempered special-shaped drawing die can obtain a deep hardened layer, which can be hardened with a mild medium.

In order to ensure high quality and effectively control the cost of use, drawing die manufacturers should ensure the smooth operation of the drawing equipment when using special-shaped drawing dies. The drawing drums and wire guide wheels should be smooth and flexible, and the jump should be strictly controlled. If there are any wear grooves on the drum and guide wheels, they should be repaired in time. Good lubrication conditions are an important condition to ensure the surface quality of the wire and extend the life of the mold. Frequently check the lubrication index, remove copper powder and impurities, and prevent contamination of equipment and die holes. The lubricator is broken and must be replaced and cleaned immediately.

Through reasonable mold configuration, the surface quality of the wire is ensured, the tension of the drum is accurately controlled, the wear of the tie rod is reduced, and the operating load of the equipment is reduced. For the sliding wire drawing machine, understanding the mechanical elongation of the equipment and choosing the sliding mode coefficient reasonably is the first step in die configuration. The type of die hole is selected according to different drawing materials and different reduction ratios. Generally speaking, the greater the drawing strength, the smaller the molding angle, the longer the sizing area, and vice versa. The decompression rate of each drawing is also closely related to the compression angle of the corresponding die, and the compression angle should be adjusted appropriately according to the decompression rate
