1) The reaming allowance should be moderate. If the margin is too large, the diameter of the reamer will increase due to the excessive cutting heat, and the hole diameter will be enlarged; if the margin is too small, the tool marks of the bottom hole will be left, and the surface roughness will not meet the requirements. The margin of coarse hinge is generally 0.15mm-0.35mm, and the margin of fine hinge is generally 0.01mm-0.05mm.

 

2) When reaming, use a lower cutting speed and use cutting fluid. When reaming the steel material, generally use emulsion, vulcanized oil or rape oil to lubricate and cool. Generally, no cutting fluid is added for reaming of cast iron. If higher quality is required, kerosene can be used. Reaming holes in bronze or aluminum alloy, can add vegetable oil or kerosene.

 

3) In order to prevent the axis of the reamer and the axis of the spindle from being skewed, the reamer and the spindle should be connected by a floating connection. When a floating connection is used, reaming cannot correct the deflection of the axis of the bottom hole, and the position accuracy of the hole should be guaranteed by the previous process.

 

4) Machine reamer cannot be reversed to avoid chipping
