2) Low technological content, such as foreign countries can manufacture clad sheet with 120mm diameter, we just can manufacture it with 40mm diameter; and drill, common mines use a lot of drills, most of them are tungsten carbide drills, and there are some enterprises manufacture diamond drills, but seldom enterprises produce polycrystalline, compact bit and thin wall diamond engineering drill, these products are with high technological content, hard to produce and good management efficiency. At present, common drill sells very well.
3) Few machining tool for functional material. Cutting tools for semiconductor (monocrystalline silicon) rely on importing, 600~700 pieces of clad sheet, costing tens of millions each year. These monocrystalline silicon production lines are mostly in china, such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
21 century is the great development period for our ultrahard materials, we should grasp the chance, developing rapidly, especially in product aspect, intensifying science and technology input and development, developing much more product and better products, making contribution to our ultrahard material’s industry.
