In the production process of drawing dies, there will always be some defective products, so how to judge the technical standards of drawing dies? The answer as below:
1. The chemical composition, physical mechanical property and metallographic structure of wire drawing die should comply with the grade standard of cemented carbide.
2. The section structure of wire drawing die should never have layering, crackles, small holes, dirtiness, black core, decarburization, heavy carburization, and should be well pressed.
3. The surface of wire drawing die should never have peeling, layering, crackles, bubbling, carburization and sink blister; the working area should never have trail, binder, concave pit, loosened side and loosened corner. The product of the length and width of the loosened side and corner should not be larger than 1.0X0.5mm, and the depth should not exceed 0.5mm.
