For Carbide wire drawing die, we usually use tungsten carbide material grade YG6,YG6X,YG8,ETC.

The following is the application recommendation of each grade.

YG6 is suitable for drawing steel wires, non-ferrous metal wires or bars with a diameter of less than 6.0mm under the condition of not great stress.

YG6 is suitable for drawing steel wires, non-ferrous metals and alloy bars with a diameter of less than 20mm under conditions of high stress, and it is also suitable for drawing pipes with a diameter of less than 10mm
YG8 is suitable for drawing steel bars, non-ferrous metal wires and alloy bars, alloy pipes, and also suitable for making mechanical wear parts.
YG15 is suitable for drawing steel bars and steel pipes under high compression rate and making stamping dies.
YG20 is suitable for making stamping dies, which are used in stamping watch parts, battery shells, toothpaste skins, small size steel balls, screws, nuts, etc.

YB20C is suitable for making stamping dies, mainly used in cold and cold stamping industries such as bearings, tools, and standard parts, as well as the stamping of bullets and shells.
