Pay attention to tungsten carbide stamping die before use

1. Clean the tungsten carbide stamping die with a clean cloth.

2. Check whether there are scratches or dents on the surface. If so, use oilstone to remove.

3. Timely oiling to prevent rust.

4. When installing the tungsten carbide stamping die, be careful not to have any tilt. Use a soft material tool such as a nylon hammer to tap it lightly. Tighten the bolt only after the tungsten carbide stamping die is correctly positioned.

 Stamping burr

1. If the mold gap is too large or uneven, readjust the mold gap.

2. The mold material and heat treatment are improper, resulting in the inverted cone of the die or the cutting edge is not sharp, so the material should be selected reasonably.

3. Stamping wear, grinding punch or insert.

4. The punch enters the concave mold too deep, adjust the depth of the punch into the concave mold.

5. The guide structure is not precise or the operation is improper. Check the guide post and guide bushing in the mold and the guide accuracy of the punch, and standardize the operation of the punch.

 Skip scrap

1. The mold gap is large, the punch is short, the material is affected (hardness, brittleness), the stamping speed is too high, the stamping oil is too viscous or the oil droplets are too fast to cause the adhesion, the stamping vibration causes the swarf divergence, vacuum adsorption and Insufficient demagnetization of the mold core can cause waste debris to be brought to the mold surface.

2. The sharpness of the cutting edge. The larger the rounded corner of the cutting edge, the more likely it is to cause the scrap to rebound. For thinner stainless steel, the inclined cutting edge can be used.

3. For relatively regular waste materials, the complexity of the waste materials can be increased or polyurethane ejector rods can be added to the punch to prevent the waste materials from skipping, and scratches will be added on the edge of the die.

4. Whether the mold gap is reasonable. Unreasonable mold gaps can easily cause scrap to rebound. For small diameter holes, the gap is reduced by 10%, and the gap is enlarged if the diameter is greater than 50.00 mm.

5. Increase the depth of the mold. When each station die is stamped, the requirement of the modulus is certain, and the modulus is small, which is easy to cause the scrap to rebound.

6. Whether there is oil stain on the surface of the processed material.

7. Adjust the punching speed and punching oil concentration.

8. Adopt vacuum adsorption.

9. Demagnetize the punches, inserts and materials.

 Crush, scratch

1. There are oil stains and waste debris on the material belt or mold, which can cause crushing. It is necessary to wipe the oil stains and install an automatic air gun to remove the waste debris.

2. The mold surface is not smooth, so the surface finish of the mold should be improved.

3. When the product is scratched to the mold location or other places during operation, the mold location needs to be modified or lowered, and the operator is required to handle it gently.

4. Material strain and unstable, reduce lubrication, increase pressure stress, and adjust spring force.
