I have a MIG welding question?

1 answer Reward0 Remaining Time 0 Day

It's out of gas.I'm trying to weld a small piece.Would flux help ? and is the gas MAAP ?
The part I'm trying to weld is a wire sheath for a throttle cable to a lawn mower.
I figured this would be the best section to ask a welding question

Idiots. How the hell is carbon dioxide inert? It has two oxygen atoms bonded to a carbon atom. Inert means not chemically reactive. Argon, helium, and nitrogen are inert. CO2 is not. That is why the American Welding Society calls wire feed welding Gas Metal Arc Welding...not Metal Inert Gas welding.
