Can you weld steel or aluminum with a flux welder?

i want to know if you can weld steel or aluminum with a 90 amp flux welder
Update: i want to build a bike, i honestly don't care which it is made out of but i need to know what i can use my welder on. thanks in advance

    this welder is usually set up to weld mild steel. to the best of my knowledge aluminum flux wire is not available for these machines. make sure you get proper diameter wire. (.030/.035 etc) an aluminum bike will be much more difficult to weld. But it will be lighter and much cooler. there is also an aluminum flux coated brazing rod that may work better try part 6060842 . with a little practice you can master the technique. mapp gas torch should be hot enough.
