A SPOT WELD IS WHEN A WELD IS DONE AT INTERVALS SUCH AS EVERY 6" AS AN EXAMPLE. AN O.K. WELD. A FULL WELD IS A COMPLETE WELD DONE LIKE THE CAULKING AROUND A SINK, OR TUB. IT'S A FULL LENGTH WELD WITH NO INTERRUPTIONS IN THE WELD. THE WELDING OF 2 PIECES OF STEEL TOGETHER, IS STRONGER THAN THE ACTUAL STEEL ITSELF.
