In the field of polymer material processing, cemented carbide die tools are used to form cemented carbide mold products, called plastic molding die tools, or plastic die tools for short. In the production of modern plastic products, reasonable processing technology, high-efficiency equipment and advanced die tools are known as the "three pillars" of plastic product molding technology. In particular, plastic die tools play an irreplaceable role in realizing the processing requirements of plastic parts, the use requirements of plastic parts, and the appearance requirements of plastic parts. High-efficiency and fully-automated equipment, and only equipped with die tools that can be automatically produced, can it exert its due effectiveness.

1. The cemented carbide mold injection mold passes through the screw or piston of the injection machine, so that the plasticized and melted plastic in the barrel is injected into the cavity through the nozzle and the pouring system, and the mold used for solidification is called the injection mold. Injection die tools are mainly used for the molding of thermoplastic plastic products, and in recent years have also been increasingly used for the molding of thermoset plastic products. This is a kind of plastic mold with wide application, large proportion and relatively mature technology. Due to different materials or plastic parts structure or molding process, there are thermosetting plastic injection die tools, structural foam injection die tools, reaction molding injection die tools, and gas-assisted injection die tools.

2. The compression mold of the cemented carbide mold uses pressure and heating to melt and solidify the plastic directly placed in the cavity. The mold is called the compression mold. Compression die tools are mainly used for the molding of thermoset plastic products, but can also be used for the molding of thermoplastic products.

3. The injection mold uses the plunger to inject the plasticized and melted plastic in the feeding cavity into the closed cavity through the pouring system, and solidify the mold used for molding, which is called the injection mold. Injection molding is mostly used for the molding of thermoset plastic products.
