       In the process of design, processing and use of cemented carbide die tools, many problems often occur: the density of cemented carbide is not uniform, the shape and dimensional accuracy of the pressed parts cannot meet the requirements, and the pressed parts are not easy to dedie tools. The parts are not easy to process, the operation is cumbersome when pressing, and the labor intensity is high. It is prone to safety accidents, the service life of the laminated film is short, and the die tools cost is high. These problems in production reflect the basic requirements of die design.

 

The solution has three points:

 

1. It can give full play to the process characteristics of powder metallurgy without cutting and less cutting, and ensure to meet the three basic requirements of parts: the geometric shape, dimensional accuracy and surface roughness of the pressed part, and the uniformity of the pressed part density.

 

2. It can be used to select die tools materials and design film structure reasonably, so that the die tools has sufficient strength, rigidity and hardness, high wear resistance and service life, easy to operate and adjust, ensure safety and reliability, and achieve as much as possible automation.

 

3. According to the actual conditions, the die tools processing requirements can be put forward reasonably, such as: die tools material selection, heat treatment system and hardness requirements, size and accuracy and surface roughness requirements, etc., which is convenient for processing and manufacturing.
