The HVOF process conditions directly affect the heating and acceleration characteristics of the particles, determine the temperature, speed, and residence time of the particles in the flame flow, thereby affecting the structure of the coating, especially the content and size of the WC particles in the coating, and the composition of the coating.

The size and content of WC particles in the coating have a significant impact on the wear resistance of the coating. Figure 1 shows the abrasive wear test results of the coating prepared by the CH-2000 system under two different conditions, indicating that the spraying conditions have a greater impact on the wear resistance of the coating.
