Protective measures during operation of thermal spraying technology

       一, protective clothing

  Any suitable protective clothing required for spraying or sand blowing varies with the type of work, nature and environment.

  When working in restricted areas, fire-resistant clothing and leather or rubber protective gloves are required. The wrists and ankles should be tied tightly to avoid splashing materials and dust on the skin.

  To work in an open environment, ordinary full work clothes are fine, but the neckline cannot be opened and the pocket buttons must be fastened. Wear high-top shoes and cover your feet.

  When spraying lead or other highly toxic materials in confined spaces or semi-open spaces, all clothing and respiratory protection devices should be changed every day and before each meal. Used clothing and respiratory protection devices should be thoroughly cleaned before reuse. Lead dust or other toxic materials.

二， Respiratory protection

  The spraying operation requires the operator to use respiratory protection. According to the nature, type and size of the dust gas, decide what kind of respiratory protection device to use. Spraying in a limited or sealed space requires the use of continuous airflow channel respirators. It consists of a standard continuous air channel respirator, face shield or helmet and dust cover.

三. Noise protection

  If the noise exceeds the defined range during spraying, all personnel near the work area should take hearing protection.

四, eye protection

  The radiation protection used in arc spraying is the same as that of arc welding. The eyes can be protected by a No. 3 or No. 6 visor. If a part of the body is directly exposed to arc radiation or when spraying some special radioactive materials or reflective bottom layer, a helmet should be used.
