Studies have found that ultra-fine/nano powders have special small size effects and surface effects, so ultra-fine/nano-structured coatings have lower porosity, higher bonding strength, higher hardness, oxidation resistance, and corrosion resistance High performance, higher surface quality, etc., which greatly broadens the application of surface coatings in the repair, strengthening and protection of mechanical parts. With the decrease of WC grain size, the mechanical properties of cemented carbide are significantly improved. Many studies have focused on adding grain growth inhibitors to WC-Co cemented carbide sintered materials [13-16]. However, there are few reports on the addition of grain growth inhibitors to WC-Co coatings.
