Research on Wear Resistance of Co-based Alloy-Tungsten Carbide Composite Coating Material
The cobalt-based alloy-tungsten carbide composite coating material was prepared by the vacuum sintering method, and the structure and surface morphology of the coating were observed and analyzed by means of scanning electron microscope, X-ray diffractometer and other advanced testing methods. Application of disc-pin friction and wear tester to composite coatings with different carbonization supervised mass fractions
The material and the as-quenched 45 steel were subjected to abrasion tests. The results show that under the same test conditions, the wear resistance of the composite coating is significantly higher than that of the quenched steel, and its wear resistance increases with the increase of the tungsten carbide mass fraction; the wear resistance of the quenched steel decreases rapidly with the increase of the load , While the wear resistance of the composite coating has not changed much.
