Inconel 718 is a precipitation hardening
nickel base superalloy. Similar brands: GH4169 GH169 (China), NC19FeNb
(France), W.Nr.2.4668 NiCr19Fe19Nb5 (Germany).

IN718 superalloy has been used in
Aeroengine for half a century. Since the invention and application of Inco
Huntington alloys (now Special Metals Co.) in the United States in the early
1960s, IN718 has become the most widely used nickel based superalloy in
Aeroengine history. The unique composition design of IN718 alloy makes it have
good comprehensive properties, that is, high strength, creep resistance and
fatigue life, good ductility, excellent oxidation resistance, especially at 650
℃, its mechanical properties have good stability. Many parts of modern
aero-engine, such as turbine disk, blade, brake, shaft, stator, seal, support,
pipeline and fastener, are made of IN718.

Material properties: high strength, good
ductility, excellent mechanical properties below 700 ℃, excellent oxidation
resistance.
