Molybdenum
powder is mainly used in plasma spraying, 3D printing, sputtering target
spraying and high temperature resistant coating. The advantages of molybdenum
powder are good fluidity, high density, wear resistance and high temperature
resistance. Molybdenum powder is generally used in hard surface spraying and
high temperature resistant surface treatment. Wococarbide can provide Mo powder
products with different particle sizes according to customers' needs.

According
to the different particle size content, molybdenum powder can be divided into
five specifications: 05 type, 10 type, 20 type, 40 type and 60 type. According
to the chemical composition, molybdenum powder can be divided into FMO-1 and FMO
-2. FMO -1 is mainly used for large slab and molybdenum silicide electric
heating elements; FMO -2 is mainly used as raw material of silicon controlled
wafer and molybdenum top.

According
to the quality level, it can be divided into two levels:

The
two grades are mainly different in the structure of powder, and their physical
performance is different from loose density. Grade 1 is high loose density
spraying molybdenum powder. It is produced by plasma spheroidization. The
powder is solid core spherical structure, and the apparent density is
5.1-5.5g/cm3. The second grade is ordinary spraying molybdenum powder, apparent
density: 4-4.5g/cm3. The loose loading density of this kind of powder is low,
the ball degree is high, and the production cost is low.

When
transporting molybdenum powder, it is necessary to pay attention to
moisture-proof and shall not collide violently. Store in dry, ventilated and
acid-base free atmosphere to prevent oxidation. The retention period shall not
exceed 6 months.
