MONEL400 is a kind of corrosion resistant alloy
with the largest amount, the most extensive use and excellent comprehensive
performance. The alloy has excellent corrosion resistance in hydrofluoric acid
and fluorine gas medium, and also in hot concentrated alkali solution. At the
same time, it is also resistant to the corrosion of neutral solution, water,
seawater, atmosphere and organic compounds. High temperature and corrosion
resistant alloys are widely used in seawater and other fields. An important
feature of the alloy is that it does not produce stress corrosion crack and has
good cutting performance.

 

Monel 400 can be called NiCu400, UNS N04400, W.Nr.2.4360 or NAS NW400. Monel 400 powder is widely
used in thermal spraying and metal filter material manufacturing.

 

Monel 400 is mainly used in the fields of
chemistry, petrochemical industry and marine development. It can be used to
manufacture all kinds of heat exchange equipment, boiler feed water heater,
petroleum and chemical pipeline, vessel, tower, tank, valve, pump, reactor,
shaft, etc.

Commonly used particle size: 180 μ M (- 80
mesh), 150 μ M (- 100 mesh), 38 μ M (400 mesh).

Production method: atomization method.

Shape: spherical.

Monel 400 welding: It is recommended to use AWS
a5.14 welding wire ernicu-7 or AWS a5.11 welding rod enicrcu-7 for MONEL400
alloy welding.
