Due to the variety and wide application

coatings in product design and parts repair is related to the success or
failure of workpiece use. Therefore, it should be carefully evaluated according
to the performance of the coating under the working conditions of the
workpiece, the physical and chemical properties of the spraying material and
the base material, and carefully tested in combination with the application

(1) Possibility of process method



For example, in terms of the use
requirements of components, it is appropriate to conduct melting treatment

this process method cannot be used. When selecting the process method, the

be considered according to the size and shape of the parts.



(2) Working environment



Including the stress or impact force borne
by the coating during operation, working temperature, corrosive medium and
corrosive environment, materials and lubrication of the mating surface and
connecting surface between the coating and other parts, etc.

It includes the surface functions of the
coating, such as surface state, surface finish, chemical properties of the
coating, adhesion strength, porosity and hardness of the coating,
anti-corrosion performance, wear resistance, friction performance, electrical
performance, heat resistance and thermal conductivity, coating thickness and
finishing performance, etc.



(4) Characteristics of matrix materials



The size and shape of the sprayed parts,
the surface state of the sprayed parts, the density and quality of the parts,
the sensitivity of the base material to temperature, the chemical composition,
hardness and thermal expansion coefficient of the base material, the stress
state in the parts, and whether other surface treatments have been carried out
before thermal spraying.
