Tungsten carbide corrugated roller spraying process





Matrix pretreatment is different from other corrugated rollers, it needs to be formulated according to the thermal spraying process conditions, and the tooth profile processing needs to consider the thermal spraying margin to complete the forming on the CNC corrugated roller grinder. The quality of the surface cleaning and roughening of the substrate is the basis for obtaining a good coating. The cleaning work increases the bonding of the coating. The uniform angularity of the roughening is beneficial to the mechanical locking effect. The increase in surface deposition also further improves the bonding strength of the coating. The sprayed tungsten carbide layer has a very high surface hardness and cannot be ground with a general grinding wheel. It must be finished with a special polishing process to ensure accurate flute shape.
