1. Dispersion coating

The processing method of dispersion coating is to make the coating material evenly distributed in the solvent to form a dispersion liquid, and a wet processing method in which the solid substance is mixed in the liquid. This mixture is atomized by high-pressure air and sprayed onto the workpiece surface.

The processing steps of dispersion coating are divided into the following steps:

1. Preparation of workpiece

2. Wet dispersion coating spraying

3. Dry

4. Sintering

Preparation of workpieces

In order to obtain sufficient surface adhesion of the workpiece surface, it is necessary to first remove all grease from the surface to be coated. We use an organic solvent to dissolve the grease and heat it to about 400°C to make it evaporate completely. Next, the workpiece is mechanically cleaned and roughened by sandblasting. The bonding ability of the coating to the surface of the workpiece can be improved by applying bonding aids and primers.

Wet Dispersion Coating Spraying

The spray coating material must be uniform. Coating thickness depends on the coating system used? Coating thickness can vary from a few microns to 200 microns? 0.2 mm.

Heat the wet coating in an oven controlled below 100°C until most of the solvent has evaporated. Sintering The step of sintering is to heat the workpiece to a higher temperature until an irreversible reaction occurs, the coating material melts and the bonding agent forms a network structure.

2. Powder coating

The powder coating processing method is a dry processing? The coating material used here is in the form of extremely fine solid particles. Using this coating method avoids the use of solvents and the subsequent dispersion that occurs when the coating is attached. The processing uses an appropriate method to attach the micronized coating particles to the workpiece, and then the coated micronized powder is melted in an oven.

The powder coating processing steps are divided into the following steps:

1. Preparation of workpiece

2. Powder spraying

3. Powder melting

The bonding ability of the coating to the surface of the workpiece can be improved by applying a bonding aid primer.

Powder coating

Powder particles are blown out of the trap by compressed air? On their way to the spray gun nozzle? There is a statically charged area. Because the particles are equally charged, they repel each other on their flight path and form a uniform cloud-like spray. The workpiece to be sprayed is grounded whereby an electrostatically charged area is created between the gun and the workpiece. Powder particles are attracted to the workpiece and adhere to it.

powder melting

There are fundamental differences between high-temperature spraying and low-temperature spraying in coating technology. For example, the temperature of the high-temperature spraying substrate is higher than the melting temperature of the powder material. The processing method of low temperature spraying is that the temperature of the substrate is lower than the melting temperature of the powder material. The melting is then carried out in an oven.
