According to plasma status

 

Equilibrium Plasma: A plasma in which the gas pressure is high and the electron temperature is approximately equal to the gas temperature. Such as arc discharge plasma and high frequency induction plasma under normal pressure.

 

Non-equilibrium plasma: At low or atmospheric pressure, the temperature of the electrons is much higher than the temperature of the gas. Such as DC glow discharge and high frequency induced glow discharge at low pressure, and cold plasma generated by DBD dielectric barrier discharge at atmospheric pressure.
