Stainless steel is a common decorative material, but the oxidation and corrosion resistance of stainless steel is not very high. We need to paint the surface to make it more durable. The spraying method of stainless steel is different from that of ordinary paint. Let's take a look at stainless steel spraying methods.

Stainless steel painting method

1. The laws of machinery

This is a reprocessing process. Machining on stainless steel surfaces, then machining after machining, such as: turning, shot peening, grinding, polishing, polishing, brushing, to form different surface finishes.

2. Embossing method

This method has artistic effect. The embossing method can make stainless steel look more beautiful. It uses an engraving roller to emboss, emboss and wrinkle the embossed pattern (usually the embossing depth is 0.03mm on one side, and the embossing depth on both sides is 0.03mm. The depth of the flower is 0.2mm), in addition to having an artistic effect In addition, it also has the effect of anti-skid, wear-resistant and anti-collision.

3. Chemical and Electrochemical Methods

This method is more complicated, but the effect is long-lasting. Chemical methods work well for stainless steel spray painting. We can perform surface treatments such as etching, coloring, electropolishing, etc. by chemical methods. Etching is the use of screen printing techniques to cover parts that do not require etching and to etch various patterns. After the stainless steel is colored, it is immersed in a hot solution of chromic or sulfuric acid and then cathodically hardened in another acid solution. The base metal reacts with hot acid to form a transparent colorless film, but develops color under the action of light. Electropolishing is the removal of very thin surface layers to give a shiny appearance. Electrolysis cannot remove surface defects such as scratches, burrs and oxidized colors. Through electrolysis, the original defects of the surface will become more obvious. The appearance quality before electropolishing plays a decisive role in the polishing effect

5. Spraying process

Let's look at the most basic spraying process. Usually, the stainless steel surface of the profile is glossy and not easy to paint, and even if it is used, it is easy to spend. The following processing is required. First, to brush a stainless steel surface, use a wire brush or a sharpener to brush the surface. Second, to clean. Cleaners have special chemical products that can also be pickled. If the quantity is not large, it can be cleaned by cleaning. Third, paint spraying, it is recommended to use spraying, because when spraying paint, if the preparation is not thick, there will be flow phenomenon, if the stirring is too thick, the paint will fall off and the spraying will be uneven. If sprayed, it's fine. Avoid such problems. Fourth, baking paint refers to placing the sprayed structure in a paint chamber and baking it for a specific time. The temperature cannot be too high, the time cannot be too long, and the temperature cannot be too low or too early.
