       Flame temperature distribution:



Wire spraying: the temperature at the nozzle is 3100°C, 50mm from the nozzle is 1500°C, 100mm is 500°C, and 150mm is 200°C. A sharp drop in temperature can be seen.



Powder spraying: 3100°C at the nozzle, 2500°C at 60~70mm from the nozzle, 1500°C at 150mm, and the temperature drop is slower than wire spraying.



Particle flight speed:



Wire spraying: At a distance of 50mm from the nozzle, the speed of the wire after atomization is about 370m/s under the acceleration of flame combustion, at a distance of 100mm, the speed is about 160m/s, and at a distance of 150mm, the speed is about 95m/s.



Powder spraying: At a distance of 50mm from the nozzle, the speed of the powder under the acceleration of flame combustion is about 80m/s, at a distance of 100mm, the speed is about 80m/s, and at a distance of 150mm, the speed is about 30m/s.



It can be seen that the wire flame spraying is higher than the powder spraying, the particles fly faster, but the temperature decreases faster, and the coating porosity is denser than the powder flame spraying coating.
