After the shaft parts are sprayed and repaired, when cooled to about 40°C, the workpiece is immersed in oil for several hours to allow the lubricating oil to penetrate into the pores of the coating. If it is a large piece, a similar effect can be achieved by applying two or three layers of lubricating oil.

The sprayed coating should be ground on a grinding machine. For the crankshaft, the radial cutting method should be used. When the diameter is greater than 0.05-0.1mm, the axial movement (left and right) will be carried out until the inner ring is ground. corners (lightly rub the flat surfaces at both ends). The radius of the fillet should be smaller than the original one to disperse the stress. When grinding, the surface of the coating should not be discolored, otherwise cracking or shelling will occur. If discoloration occurs, it should be stopped immediately, and the grinding wheel should be dressed or replaced before processing.

Shaft repair must also chamfer the oil hole, that is, use a suitable jack drill to drill the carbon rod or chalk that blocks the oil hole, and then use a small grinding wheel to clamp it on the high-speed pneumatic grinding head to grind the bell mouth.

After the coating is processed, clean all parts with gasoline, especially the oil holes must be cleaned to prevent debris.
