Maintenance points of arc spraying equipment

       Arc spray equipment requires regular maintenance. During on-site anti-corrosion construction work, the sandblasting and spraying process generates a large amount of dust, which may accumulate in the spraying equipment. In particular, the dust generated during the zinc spraying operation is more harmful, because the resistance of the fine zinc powder is small. If it enters the electrical components or accumulates in the gap of the transformer coil, it may cause a short circuit and bring serious consequences. Due to the small size and strong adsorption of zinc ash, it is usually difficult to clean up by simple methods, so it is best to place the spraying equipment in a place isolated from the spraying area. Always check the compression of cable joints, wire feeding hose joints and other parts, and tighten them in time if they become loose due to heat.



The dust on the wire feeding mechanism and the control box should be cleaned up in time, and the floating dust can be blown off with compressed air after the daily spraying work. In addition, the wire feeding mechanism should be cleaned regularly, and lubricant should be added. The interval between cleaning and adding lubricant depends on the usage. The wire feed roller should always be kept clean and well lubricated. When the amount of construction is large, clean and lubricate the part of the wheel shaft at least once a week to prevent the wire feed wheel and the wheel shaft from getting stuck. In the case of serious dust, the lubricant on the surface of the wire rod will make the dust adhere to the surface of the wire rod and bring it into the wire feeding mechanism, which will hinder the normal operation. At this time, special measures should be taken to remove the adhered dust. For example, running the wire through a small piece of rubber will scrape off the dust.



The conduit, wire feed rollers and wire reels must be properly centered and adjusted, and the wire feed hose must be cleaned regularly, usually before a new bundle of wire is installed. For cleaning, remove the wire and blow the hose with clean compressed air
