Arc Spray and Plasma Spray Safe Operation

       a. Provide necessary technical training to operators to familiarize them with the use and maintenance of equipment.



b. The metal casing of the power supply or the hand-held spray gun should be protected to zero and ground. The electrical equipment on the spraying site must have overcurrent protection, and no open wires are allowed. If it cannot be avoided, a protection tube should be provided.



c. The power supply, control cabinet and spray gun cannot be cleaned or repaired without cutting off the power and air supply of the entire system.



d. In order to prevent the accumulation of metal dust, the spray gun and power supply should be cleaned frequently to prevent short circuit caused by dust collection.



e. The wire feeder connected to the arc spray equipment should be well grounded or insulated.



f. If the plasma spray gun or arc spray gun is suspended, the hook should be insulated or grounded. When the arc spray gun stops working, the two wires on the spray gun should be withdrawn.



g. When adjusting the plasma spray gun, the use time of high frequency should be shortened as much as possible or the number of times of use should be reduced, in order to prevent damage to other electrical equipment by high frequency. Plasma spray gun and its support frame should maintain adequate insulation.
