Flashback arrester for flame spraying

       Flashback arrester is an essential safety device for acetylene bottles and acetylene generators. It can be classified according to the following basic characteristics. According to different working pressure, it can be divided into low pressure type



There are two types: (0.007MPa) and medium pressure (0.007-0.16MPa), which can be divided into two types: water-sealed type and dry type according to different working principles. According to different structural principles, they can be divided into two types: open type and closed type. Different parts can be divided into two types: centralized type (central type) and post type. At present, there are low-pressure open and medium-pressure closed water-sealed tempering preventers, and medium-pressure metallurgical sheet dry tempering preventers. The following requirements should be observed during use.



a. According to the acetylene gas cylinder, acetylene generator and operating conditions, select the flashback preventer that meets the safety requirements.



b. The water-sealed tempering preventer must be provided with pressure relief holes and anti-drying films. And it is required that this preventer is easy to check, and the dirt in it is easy to remove and clean.



c. The water-sealed flashback preventer is required to be installed upright, and the connection with the acetylene conduit must be tight and airtight.



d. Each spray gun must be equipped with an independent and qualified flashback preventer.



e. The flashback preventer must be checked before each shift to ensure good sealing and sensitive and reliable check valve action.



f. When using a water-sealed flashback preventer, keep the water level specified in the flashback preventer at all times.



g. For dry tempering preventers, the smoke and dust remaining in the device should be checked and cleaned monthly.
