       Since supersonic flame spraying has its own characteristics, the following two points should be paid attention to in the actual spraying process:



①Because the heat input to the substrate by supersonic flame spraying is relatively large, the cooling measures must be strictly controlled to avoid the phenomenon of the workpiece being scrapped due to overheating and deformation of the substrate.



② Special attention should be paid to the shielding protection of the non-sprayed parts. Because in the supersonic flame spraying process, the sprayed particles are not heated to a completely melted state, the particles have a certain rigidity, and the flight speed is high, far exceeding the conventional plasma spraying process. The flying speed of the particles cannot be met by the commonly used anti-stick coatings and anti-masking tapes, and the masking method must be bundled with a thin iron sheet or a thin copper sheet.
