       The shapes of thermal spray coating materials are mainly powder and wire, and the storage, transportation and packaging requirements are described as follows.



1. Packaging, storage and transportation of thermal spraying wires



(1) Packaging method The sprayed wire should be evenly distributed and wrapped on a wooden or plastic cylindrical surface with a wheel hub for packaging, and the wire should not be crossed and kinked. Each coil should be made of one metal wire, and there should be no welded joints in the middle. The outer layer is covered with plastic tape or plastic film.



For rust-prone wires such as carbon steel wires, a thin layer of anti-rust oil should be applied for protection, and butter should not be used to prevent rust.



For soft wires such as babbitt wires, appropriate reinforcement measures should be taken to prevent pressure damage and scratches.



The minimum diameter of the reel must facilitate the smooth feeding of the wire during the spraying process. The winding width can be determined according to the weight of each coil. The weight of each coil is generally divided into 5kg, 10kg and 20kg packaging specifications.



(2) Product label The hub surface of the reel should be marked with product labels and labels such as rain-proof, moisture-proof and high-temperature proof in a conspicuous position. Product labels should include the following items:



1) Chemical name and grade.



2) Chemical composition.



3) Specifications.



4) Production unit.



5) Production date and production batch number.



2. Transportation and storage



Thermal spray wire products can be transported by various transportation methods, and generally require indoor rain-proof and moisture-proof storage. It should be specially pointed out that the zinc wires should not be stacked densely to prevent the damage of the basic zinc carbonate protective film caused by the storage environment, resulting in "white rust".



3. Acceptance



The acceptance of thermal spray powder materials can be implemented with reference to the national standard GB/T 19356-2003 "Thermal Spray-Powder-Ingredients and Technical Conditions for Supply".
