current position:Information and data>what is plasma
In addition to the three forms of solid, liquid and gas in nature, plasma is the fourth state of matter. When the ionization degree of the gas is greater than 0.1%, the number of positive ions and electrons increases and is equal, and the space charge is zero, showing a neutral state. The gas in this state is called plasma.
Plasma is a broad concept. For example, the sun is a high temperature plasma, and the light source used by the fluorescent lamp is the cold plasma in the low temperature plasma. The plasma described in the plasma spray technique is a thermal plasma in a low temperature plasma.
Plasma has three basic characteristics: strong electrical conductivity, quasi-neutrality and the ability to act on a magnetic field.
