As shown in Figure 2-24, at the outlet of the arc spray gun nozzle, the flow rate of the atomizing gas is the largest, while the velocity of the molten droplets is the lowest. As the spraying distance increases, the sprayed particles are gradually accelerated, and the flow rate of the atomizing gas gradually decreases. Generally, the sprayed particles have high flying speed and temperature within the spraying distance of 60 ~ 200mm, and it is easy to obtain high-quality coatings.
