The application of coating quality online detection, spraying heat source temperature field distribution, spraying particle velocity measurement, and online diagnosis technology has greatly improved the stability and reliability of coating preparation. The application of coating technology has penetrated into various fields of national economic construction in various countries around the world. Only American Metco and TAFA, the output value in 2001 reached 3.2 billion and 3.5 billion US dollars respectively. International cooperation and technical exchanges have been gradually formed. The first International Thermal Spray Conference was held in the United Kingdom in 1965, and it was held every two years thereafter. The application of thermal spraying technology in my country began in the early 1950s. It began to manufacture wire flame spray guns and powder air spray guns. This is the most typical application example of domestic thermal spraying long-term protection project. In the late 1960s, the plasma spray welding technology was developed, and the powder flame spray welding technology was also applied. In the 1970s, plasma spraying technology and plasma spraying welding technology were basically mature, and successively developed DP-50, GP-80, HP-2000, APS-2000 plasma spraying equipment and PH-100, PH-300, PH-400 , PH-500 series plasma spray welding equipment. Plasma spray welding technology is used in the manufacture of valve sealing surfaces and engine intake and exhaust valve sealing surfaces, and has been fully popularized nationwide, playing a positive role in improving product quality and the overall technical level of the manufacturing industry. Plasma spraying technology is widely used in metallurgy, petrochemical, aerospace, energy and other fields, and has achieved very significant results. In the late 1990s, HT3200 fuel high-speed flame spraying equipment and high-speed arc spraying equipment were successfully developed.



Before the 1990s, the units engaged in thermal spraying technology in my country were mainly distributed in colleges and universities, research institutes, and were responsible for the research and development of spraying equipment, coating materials and coating process methods. After the vigorous promotion of three consecutive five-year plans, a complete thermal spraying technology system for coating technology research, coating material production, and coating application has been formed, and a national thermal spraying technology industry association and thermal spraying standardization technical committee have been established. .
