What problems should be paid attention to in the maintenance of flame spraying equipment

       (1) Regularly check the hoses and air lines, and repair or replace the equipment that finds problems immediately.



    (2) The spray gun should be maintained as recommended by the manufacturer. Every thermal spray operator should know and be familiar with the operation of a flame spray gun. Before firing for the first time, the operating instructions for the gun should be carefully read and understood.

    (3) The valve that controls the flow of oxygen gas or compressed air should be properly installed and lubricated, so as to protect the gun body from operating freely and can be completely closed.

    (4) Before the oxygen cylinder is installed with the pressure reducer, the oxygen valve should be slightly opened to blow off the dirt, so as to prevent dust and garbage from entering the pressure reducer and blocking and causing accidents.

    (5) If the gun has backfire, it should be extinguished as soon as possible. If there is deflagration or flashback when igniting during spraying, the ignition should be re-ignited after checking the cause and solving it.

    (6) The flame spray gun or its hose cannot be hung on the regulator or cylinder valve, which may cause fire or explosion.

    (7) After spraying, or when the equipment is shut down and left unattended, all the gas in the regulated gas and the hose should be released, and operate in the following order

     ① Close the gun valve.

     ② Close the air valve.

     ③ Open the gun valve

     ④ Turn the adjusting screw to the free state.

     ⑤ Close the gun valve.

     ⑥ Close the tank valve or the branch valve in front of the regulator.

    (8) When cleaning the flame gun, oil is not allowed to enter the gas mixing chamber, and ordinary oil or grease cannot be used to lubricate the flame gun parts or valves in contact with oxygen or gas. Only use special antioxidant lubricants recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
