       When arcing by plasma spraying, it mainly relies on high-frequency arcing. There is a certain amount of high-frequency electromagnetic radiation at the moment of arcing. However, the radiation time is short, and it is generally not harmful to the human body. However, it is necessary to pay attention to special groups. The pacemaker crowd, so it is indicated in the safety operation manual of the device that this crowd is not allowed to approach the arc starting box. Protection is mainly from reducing the time of high frequency occurrence, considering the equipment design:

     The high-frequency generator system should be equipped with a shielding device to improve the arc striking ability of the equipment and reduce the arc striking time.



     (1) Improve and ensure the machining accuracy of the spray gun to reduce the number and time of using high-frequency sparks to check the electrode alignment.

     (2) To shorten the distance between the spark gap and the tungsten electrode, it should be adjusted within the required range, and the time of using high frequency should be minimized.

     (3) On the electrical circuit, it is necessary to fully ensure that the high-frequency circuit can be cut off immediately after the arc is struck.

     (4) A method to achieve weak high-frequency sparks and instant arc ignition.
