       1) The exposed parts of the human body should be strictly protected from plasma arc irradiation. Do not observe flames and arcs directly without wearing protective goggles. A helmet should be used if any part of the body is directly exposed to arc radiation or if some special radioactive material or reflective substrate is sprayed.

    2) Oxygen-acetylene flame spraying and spray melting operators must wear dark protective glasses. In order to reflect heat radiation, it is best to use chrome-plated dark mirror protective glasses.

    3) For plasma arc powder surfacing and its spraying operators, it is best to use a mask with reflective goggles. In general, green and yellow lenses are better at absorbing ultraviolet rays. There are green No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 protective lenses in China.

    4) The radiation protection used by arc spraying is the same as that of arc welding. Eyes can be protected with a size 3 or 6 protective lens.

    5) The closed protective ventilation hood and isolation operation are the best for preventing light radiation and thermal radiation. The shield not only blocks the arc, but also absorbs UV and IR. The working condition can be observed through the observation window equipped with protective glasses. In fact, as long as you wear a work mask, work cap, gloves and work clothes, you can basically prevent ultraviolet radiation to the skin.
