How to carry out safety protection in sandblasting

       (1) Sandblasting equipment, pipes and joints must be installed firmly, the connection is reliable, and the safety is not leaked. It should also be checked frequently during the work to check whether there is air leakage and pipe wear, especially the severely worn pipes should be replaced in time to prevent bursting and hurting people.



    (2) When sandblasting, the nozzle is not allowed to face people. ,

    (3) It is forbidden to repair sandblasting equipment or replace parts under air pressure. When adding sand to the sand tank, the compressed air in the tank should be exhausted before the top cover can be opened.

    (4) The operator should wear sandblasting overalls with a helmet. Workwear is made of rubber or artificial leather and has an air distributor. Wear rubber, leather, or thick cloth gloves; auxiliary personnel must wear protective glasses and dust masks.

    (5) The air that the operator breathes in the helmet must be filtered and the air pressure adjusted to 1.2MPa.

    (6) During construction in winter, the hot air exhaled by the operator is likely to form fog on the glass of the helmet and affect the vision. An anti-fog agent can be applied to the inner wall of the glass, but it should not be too thick. The formula and preparation of the anti-fog agent are as follows;

    Recipe: 200g of ordinary soap, 300mL of sprinkling essence, 100mL of glycerin.

    Production: first cut the soap into thin slices and put it into the alcohol to heat and dissolve, then filter while hot, add glycerin, then heat again to evaporate the excess alcohol, and it can be used after cooling.

   (7) During the work, the sand on the scaffolding and the structure should be cleaned in time to prevent slipping.
