What are the indicators of thermal spray coating performance evaluation?

       There are many technical indicators for evaluating the performance of thermal spray coatings, some of which are common and general. The general indicators are: coating appearance and thickness, bonding strength between coating and substrate, coating porosity, hardness, metallographic structure (including detection of coating and substrate interface) chemical composition, X-ray diffraction analysis of coating equal in layers.
