current position:Information and data>How to determine the spraying line speed?
The spray line speed is mainly determined by the thickness of the coating deposited by the spray gun per pass through the surface. Due to different spraying materials, the deposition rate is different. For the fine powder spray gun, the thickness of the coating deposited once through the surface is 0.013mm~0.03mm, and for ordinary powder, it is 0.025mm~0.076mm. Therefore, different materials should use different line speeds. In general, the relative linear speed of the spray gun and the parts is 30.5m/min~100m/min. In addition, higher line speeds are more beneficial in spraying operations to prevent localized hot spots and surface oxidation.
The relative speed of the sprayed substrate surface and the spray gun is controlled by the moving speed of the spray gun or the moving (or rotating) speed of the substrate. In order to control the proper spray line speed, it is best to use an automatic or semi-automatic spray gun clamping device or a support device for the sprayed part.
