     (1) When the control current is "0", it can work stably with argon or nitrogen direct arc ignition (argon: 30V; 100A; nitrogen: 90V, 60A).

     (2) Since the self-saturable magnetic amplifier is selected, the voltage amplification factor and current amplification factor are higher than those of the saturable reactor, thus improving the conditions of the control link.
